The primary responsibility of Court Services Agency of Indiana is the timely and accurate service of civil process, and documents necessary to conduct litigation, issued from non-criminal Courts of Indiana and other jurisdictions. CSAOI handles the service of legal documents pursuant to each state's rule of procedure. 

 

Indiana Area of Service

CSAOI provides service for the entire state of Indiana.

 

Central District (Main Office)

The primary area of service lies within central Indiana and includes, but is not limited to, the counties of Marion (Metro Indianapolis, Lawrence, Speedway), Boone (Lebanon, Whitestown, Zionsville), Hamilton (Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville), Hancock (Greenfield, Fortville, McCordsville), Hendricks (Avon, Brownsburg, Plainfield), Johnson (Franklin, Greenwood, New Whiteland), Morgan (Martinsville, Mooresville), and Shelby (Shelbyville).

Civil Process Types and Fees

Three Levels of Process Service​

  • Gold: Documents received by 10AM are served by the end of the same business day

  • Silver: 1st attempt is made within 24 hours 

  • Bronze: 1st attempt is made within 48 hours

 

Gold service is available in our primary service area during the business week

 

Fees for civil process are based on the following:

  • Type of service

  • Type of document

  • Number of persons being served

  • Number of attempts required

  • Distance to destination
